Operating costs and budgets are recorded by cost centre, nature of expense and responsibility number of the person authorising the transaction. The cost centre coding structure provides for department, three levels of area breakdown and an activity code thereby allowing detailed analysis of costs by department, area, activity or any combination of these. Operating costs can further be analysed into natures of expense and responsibility number at any of these levels. Comprehensive standard cost reports and enquiries are included.

Creating a cost centre

Creating a cost centre is a simple matter of selecting relevant components from predefined lookup lists.
